Receipt of bank note and coins
These machines check, count, and sort any amount of loose bank notes at a speed of around 80 notes per minute. Even large quantities of loose coins do not pose a problem. The tried-and-tested HESS counter technology checks the coins to make sure that they are genuine.
The paying in process
Money is deposited in accordance with money laundering legislation. Deposits can be made using a card or account number, and the recipient account can be specified. The account number is checked using check digit verification.
Online data transfer posting
An online data transfer procedure can be used to automatically credit paid in money to customer accounts.
Deposit reports
A special deposit list records each deposit along with the date, time, bank code, account number, and amount. Different denominations are managed separately.
Safe deposit of safebags
Thanks to a range of sensors, each step of each transaction is controlled. Once the machine registers the presence of a safebag in the deposit compartment, the opening is closed. The barrel revolves to deposit the safebag in the space to the rear. This means that it is impossible to retrieve the safebag once it has been deposited. Optionally, the deposit area can also be fitted out as a CEN L or CEN III safe.
Automatic cash management
All incoming and outgoing transactions are automatically recorded. This means that the current fill level of the machine can be checked quickly and easily online.
Administration via the bank's intranet
HESS systems can be easily integrated with the bank's internal computer networks and managed online using the HESS WebMaster. This allows cash reserves to be monitored, volume to be queried, online data transfer postings to be carried out, and transactions to be evaluated.
Easy to use
After being identified on the basis of their magnet strip card, the customer is automatically guided through the deposit process. Depending on the settings, the deposited amount, safebag number, and additional information can be entered. Each deposit transaction is acknowledged by a receipt.
